Today, I am forgoing a full review and am instead demanding that you check out the low-budget work of genius that is Pleasant People. Made in Atlanta and reflecting the feelings of a mumblecorp film, Pleasant People offers and uncanny view into the world of artistic distance, as seen through the eyes of a minority. If you at all love independent cinema, Pleasant People is about as great as it comes. If not for the movie, do it for the equally good music.
The movie has its own website, which is as colorful as the film's narrative.
